Time Flies

Wow, I cannot believe it has been almost two months since I posted last! I have been very busy lately with school, work, sports, and several other activities. In fact, I spent the weekend before last in Texarkana, TX and Texarkana, AR at a joint meeting of the camp organizing committees (CoC) of Camp Quality Arkansas and Camp Quality Texas. I serve on the Arkansas CoC as the technology coordinator. Last weekend I attended my first Razorback football game, which just happened to be against #1 Alabama. Coming from Arkansas State, I was brought up loathing the Razorbacks because ASU is kind of like the ugly stepsister to U of A. However, I actually want the Razorbacks to do well, but find it tough to call the Hogs. This weekend I will be going (almost) home to Jonesboro to ASU’s centennial homecoming game versus Louisville. I am kind of baffled by why Louisville is the homecoming opponent, I guess they wanted it to be as big of a game as possible and a Big East opponent in town for homecoming should draw a crowd. Next weekend I have the opportunity to travel with the Razorbacks to Arlington, TX to Cowboys Stadium where they will the Hogs will face-off against the Texas A&M Aggies. I am really excited about the chance, I have not been to the new stadium and getting to fly with the team, eat with the team, and all. It will be very cool.
